Abstract:
This paper introduces a comprehensive system designed to effectively distribute temporary shelters after significant disasters. Its primary aim is on overcoming coordination, logistics, and resource allocation obstacles to optimize relief efforts following a catastrophe. The model utilizes a Linear Programming (LP) metric and a Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm (NSGA-II) for validation and optimization while considering various scenarios and objective functions. The findings underscore the modelʼs success in enhancing shelter distribution and overall response during extensive disasters. The proposed integrated system can substantially aid affected communities by streamlining coordination and improving the efficiency of relief operations.
