Abstract:
In this paper, by regarding the special position of photovoltaics among renewable energy sources and expand use of grid connected PV arrays, effects of PV arrays on power quality of electrical distribution networks are evaluated. For this purpose, after introducing the equivalent circuit ofphotovoltaic cells, solar radiation and temperature model of Tehran in mid- August is presented and then, with focus on voltage effects of PV arrays, the impacts of PV arrays on power quality of IEEE 13 node test feeder are analyzed
