Abstract:
Twointerestingcoastalspecies, Eleochariscaduca(Delile) Schultes and Carex extensaGood. arereported as new records for the flora of Iran. Thesespecies have been collectedfrom the coastal line of LangerudLahijan in Gilan province, Iran. Characteristics and geographical distribution of the species are presented. Eleochariscaducaiscomparedwithcloselyrelatedspecies, Eleocharisgeniculata(L.) Roemer&Schultes. Distribution of Carex extensain Asia isalsopresented in the map.
