A New Fuzzy Optimization Procedure for Multi Objective Mixed Integer Linear Programs abstract

The aim of multi-objective optimization is to simultaneously optimize two or more conflicting objectives subject to a set of constraints. In interactive optimization, Tchebycheff metric based approaches can be utilized to systematically reduce the set of selectable non-dominated solutions from one iteration to the next. In this paper, we propose an interactive fuzzy satisfaction level driven Tchebycheff procedure (FSLTP) to produce a set of well-balanced Pareto optimal solutions to be presented to the DM. This approach prevents generation of unwanted unbalanced solutions and will decrease the computational effort needed to find a desirable result
