A review of Renewable energy and sustainable building

The human need for energy due to the limitation of fossil fuels in the earth has caused researchers to turn to the use of renewable energy that includes various sources. One of the most important factors of environmental pollution in the world and especially in Iran is the consumption of fossil energy in residential spaces to provide hot water and heat for the home space and energy loss due to the improper design of buildings and the use of inappropriate materials in construction and lack of proper maintenance of cooling and heating devices. According to the presented statistics, the building sector includes approximately 50% of the world's energy consumption and 42% of greenhouse gas emissions during the life cycle of the building. These statistics show that the crisis of fossil fuels are very serious. so according to ever increasing demand for energy, the development of renewable resources in the world are becoming more necessary every day. This article has tried to point out the necessity of using renewable energy sources, clean and recycled materials and environmental design of buildings by conducting library studies while pointing out the amount of energy consumption in buildings and environmental pollution caused by it.The abstract appears before the keywords. Abstract must be about 200 words. However, it must be limited between 150 to 200 words. The abstract should clearly state, the objective, results and the conclusion of the work.
