Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to compare the scores of women in prisoners with normal in the Minnesota Multilateral Personality Questionnaire in Zahedan. Research is a descriptive study of the causal type of comparison. The statistical population of this study included all prisoners in Zahedan, ۶۱ female prisoners as a study group ۶۱ non-female non-mental disorder. The sampling method for the study group was purposeful and available for the comparison group due to the lack of access to the exact number of the community. The criterion for entering the research was for the prisoners of a year imprisonment. For data collection, the multi-faceted personality questionnaire was used for a short form of ۷۱ questions. Data were analyzed by T-test of two independent samples to determine the difference between groups in research hypotheses. The results of this study showed that there was a significant difference between normal women and women in the clinical scales including depression, Psychopathic deviation, paranoia, Psych-asthenia, schizophrenia and hypomania, so that the average scores of all scales in women in prisoners higher than women were observed normal. There was no significant difference between the two groups in Hypochondriasis scale and hysteria.
