Abstract:
This narrative review delves into the efficacy of an online language course implemented during the unprecedented challenges posed by the COVID-۱۹ pandemic. The study aims to comprehensively assess the impact, advantages, and challenges encountered in delivering language education through virtual platforms. Focusing on the adaptability and effectiveness of online pedagogical strategies, the review synthesizes findings from various sources, including academic literature, empirical studies, and experiential narratives. Emphasizing the unique circumstances imposed by the pandemic, the narrative explores how educators and learners navigated the virtual realm, addressing both successes and shortcomings. By scrutinizing diverse perspectives and experiences, this review contributes to a nuanced understanding of the effectiveness of online language courses in the context of a global health crisis, offering insights for educational practitioners and policymakers alike.
