Review of Artificial Intelligence Algorithms and Technology in Smart Cities abstract
Smart city operations could be completely changed by the implementation of 5G technology, which would make cities more sustainable, livable, and efficient. Its implementation is not without difficulties, though. This study outlines possible future paths for research and development while examining the major ethical, legal, and technological issues related to the deployment of 5G in smart cities. There are several intricate technical obstacles involved in the rollout of 5G in smart cities. The requirement for a denser network of tiny cells to accommodate the high data speeds and low latency offered by 5G technology is one of the biggest obstacles. Additionally, concerns like line-of-sight and the potential for interference must be carefully considered when using higher frequency bands for 5G. Continued investment in R&D is necessary to fully exploit the potential benefits of 5G in smart cities. This includes creating new applications and services that can take advantage of 5G's capabilities as well as new standards and technology to enable the deployment of 5G in smart cities. Research on the moral and legal issues raised by the rollout of 5G in smart cities is equally necessary and must continue. In summary, 5G technology adoption in smart cities has the power to completely change urban areas and improve their livability, sustainability, and efficiency. Its implementation is not without difficulties, though, and in order to reach its full potential, cooperation between various stakeholders and continued research and development expenditure are required.
