Abstract:

Every substance or phenomenon in the image scene shows a unique spectral effect due to its own molecular composition and structure. Based on this, different phenomena can be revealed and distinguished from each other in remote sensing. By using the spectral signature of any phenomenon, its spectral behavior and finally the physical and chemical characteristics of that phenomenon can be understood. For this purpose, the spectral fingerprinting technique based on angle was used in the upcoming research to identify crude oil in the sea environment. The Spectral Angle Mapping algorithm with the overall accuracy of ۰.۹۲ is considered an efficient method for identifying crude oil in satellite images.
