Abstract:

The present research was conducted to mediate the role of attachment styles between parenting styles and social growth .Research method: It was a correlation method. The target sample was selected using a multi-stage cluster random sampling method. The measurement tools of the research were the attachment styles questionnaire, Baumerind's parenting methods questionnaire, and Weitzman's social development test questionnaire.The research data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods (parametric and non-parametric) and during stages using SPSS software and the hypotheses were tested with the help of Pearson's correlation test and Multiple regression analysis was performed. The results showed that among the dimensions of parenting styles, the dimension of logical authority can predict social growth in a positive and meaningful way, and the dimension of authoritarianism in a negative and meaningful way.From the dimensions of attachment styles, the avoidant dimension in a negative and meaningful way and the secure dimension in a positive and meaningful way can predict social growth, as well as the avoidant attachment dimension and authoritarian parenting in a negative and meaningful way. It can predict social growth and also secure attachment style and child style. The routine is as well as a socialization of the community, and can be meaningful in the sense of rationalization between the style and the rationalization of the style.
