Abstract:

The present study aims to investigate Iranian students’ views on the influence of artificial intelligence on English learning. The participants in this survey were a sample of ۱۰۰ Iranian students from different universities. They were selected by convenience sampling. In this study, the focus was on the impact of artificial intelligence on English learning. Data were collected using an online questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. In fact, the quantitative data were obtained using a survey questionnaire. The data obtained from the questionnaire were presented in the form of tables and graphs to show Iranian students’ viewpoints on learning English in online classes and its effects. The results of the data analysis revealed that most of Iranian students agree with online learning, they have positive viewpoints about online learning, and it has a positive influence on their learning. Data analysis showed that the majority of students support online learning. It was found that progressing technology has influence on the learning of learners, especially learning English. This study has both theoretical and practical implications for government officials, EFL teachers, learners.
