Experimental Results on Deinking of Non-impact Ink Printed Papers with Cellulase abstract
Enzymatic deinking is examined for laser printed paper. Enzyme (cellulose) uses improve ink detachment from wastepapers giving better results when it is used in place of chemicals. Deinking experiments were carried out in a flotation column. Experiments were conducted in batch mode of operation. Handsheets were made from the deinked pulp and residual ink area was measured.
