A Phase Noise Calculation (PNCAL) Toolbox for Digitally Controlled Oscillator Design

In this work a toolbox is designed and tested for phase noise calculation and minimization in RF ' ciraits and blocks. A symbolic approach based on fa mot ts Haj im ir i's and Ic e's Impu ls e s e ns it iv i ty func t i o n theory is usedfor phase noise analysis. A lerm is added to previotts model to consider the noise contribution of capacitor switching in DCOs.
