Survey of densities for binary mixtures containing Diisopropyl ether and 2-Alkanols

In this research, Densities of binary mixtures containing diisopropyl ether,2- Propanol,2-Butanol and 2-Pentanol has been measured at various temperatures and differentmole fraction.From the experimental data, excess molar volumes ( E m V ), partial molar volumes ( m ,i V ), thermalexpansion coefficients ( ), excess thermalexpansion coefficients ( E ),and dynamic deviations were calculated.Excess molar volumes were correlatedby Redlich-Kister type equation as a function of temperature. excess molar volumes are positive for all studies mixtures and decrease with increase of temperature. Also value of excess molar volumes were explained by type and nature of interactions occure is solutions.
