Abstract:

Herein, we report on nano-sized Mn oxide/carbon nanotube, graphene and graphene oxide as water-oxidizing compounds in artificial photosynthesis. The composites are synthesized by different and simple procedures and characterized by some methods. The wateroxidizing activities of these composites are also considered in the presence of cerium(IV) ammonium nitrate. Some composited are efficient Mn-based catalysts with TOF (mmolO2/molMn.s) ~ 2.6 .
