Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to determine the level of understanding and awareness of Isfahan District 5 Education staff components of knowledge management : (production, creation, refinement, dissemination and application of knowledge).Methods: This study is based on a descriptive survey research method. The study population includes all District five education staff and a total of 91 randomly selected subjects , out of which 74 are selected as statistic sample. The Research instrument is a researcher-made questionnaire with 21 items in Likert format and the content validity of the questionnaire is based on formal foundations and research background, educational staff and faculty members opinion is confirmed using coefficient α (alpha) alpha which is calculated as 82/0 .Collected data is analysed , using descriptive and inferential statistics such as single-sample T test.Results: The results showed that the average level of education staff awareness and understanding of the District five office of education, in management component of knowledge management is not too good.Findings: The results show that the mean score elements of knowledge management (production, creation, refinement, dissemination and application of knowledge) is not too good. We have also witnessed very rapid changes in the various fields of sciences and technology and the increasing complexity and dynamics of environmental factors and management education. We must make plans for creating, refining, distribution and application of knowledge in education
