Abstract:
This paper investigates climatic roles of Blue- mosque elements in Tabriz city of Iran according to the absorbed solar- energy in its location (latitude 37°N). The related sections are presented to clarify their functional operations based on solar geometry. Amount of absorbed solar energy is calculated considering material and element thicknesses. The rate of transferred energy calculated to emphasis its role on heating the internal space of the mosque based on its element traits and climatic condition. The mentioned considerations implemented for 21st of December when is the most critical time respect to the northern hemisphere. So the average temperature for this day is analyzed for rate estimation.
