Abstract:

This paper propose an optimal WiFi channel model by definition second order environment interactions computation in the quasi deterministic radio channel generator (QuaDRiGa) model. This is an undeniable truth in some environments like indoor environments, dispersive signal has many interactions with its environs. Hence, in addition to line of sigth (LOS) interactions and non line of sight single interaction clusters (NLOS_SICs), another kind of interactions named non line of sight multiple interaction clusters (NLOS_MICs) have a large impact on channel modeling calculation. As regards, the WiFi channels are fully interplay, their channel computation will be affected by these components. In the new channel model intervened one kind of NLOS_MICs known as non line of sight twin interaction clusters (NLOS_TICs). Hence, more details of departure and arrival angles, delay spread and powers are changed in the channel coefficient computations. Summary, when the clusters formed by the means of parametrising large-scale parameter (LSP), the cluster types recognition approach used to determining clusters type and then for each of them, different methods used to calculate channel parameters. A corresponding matlab simulation model proposed and the impact of specify cluster types on the azimuth and elevation, delay spread and power delay profile is discussed. Finally, experimental result and numerical analysis (e.g. shadow fading, K factor delay spread) shows that the proposed channel model is able to serve as a more accurate design framework for WiFi Multiple input_Multiple output (MIMO) channel model and have a better performance than previous QuaDRiGa.
