The evaluation of management information systems' application (MIS) in the recruitment and selection of human resources abstract
With the advent of information technology in the organization and finally the use of management information systems, the human resource management functions can be changed. This change will be effective if we identify the activities that can be performed by manage information systems and then provide the development of these activities. Subsequently, the human resource management becomes familiar with the new conditions in order to enhance the human resources performance in the organization by using the capacities created by these information systems. In this paper, the management information systems, recruitment and the selection of human resources were introduced and the relationship between the two factors was examined. Then, the importance of management information systems’ role and its use was emphasized in order to have a better recruitment and human resources selection. The present study is descriptive –correlation. The results were obtained through library and field studies and the employees in Human Resources Deputy of Khuzestan Steel Company formed the study population
