Investigation of Hydraulic Fracturing Treatment to Improve Ultimate Oil Recovery abstract
Creation of artificial cracks is a very useful treatment for improving the productivity of oil and gas wells. This stimulation method can be applied in many wells and fields where their production is not economically. The aim of this study is considering the effect of hydraulic fracturing on increasing the cumulative oil production in an Iranian oil field. Through this study the cumulative oil production has been evaluated with the compositional simulation for the next ten years. At the end of this paper the well flowing performance for both stimulated and non-stimulated wells has been predicted.
