Abstract:

Since the old days, man has been connected to nature in different ways. However, following the domination of industrial revolution on the globe, such a connection started to fade. After this, movements in parallel with nature appeared in order to maintain the environment. Bionic and archetypal architecture are two case examples whose layouts and lines borrow from natural forms and green flowers, hidden geometry and nature secrets. The present study, conducted using an analytical-descriptive methodology, attempts to introduce a type of architecture without spatial or temporal constraints through a comparative study of the aforementioned natural approaches to architecture and adapting them to concepts of form and meaning
