A new optimal PID-BBBC control speed of brushless DC motors abstract
In this paper Big Bang-Big Crunch, optimization is used to determine a PID’s parameters, to control the speed of brushless DC (BLDC) motor. At first a BLDC motor was ran without PID, and then this motor was ran with a traditional PID that its parameters obtained with trail and error method. But this PID hadn’t good speed response. So, intelligent optimizations (PSO & BBBC) were used to obtain the PID’s parameters. In normal condition the performance of both were acceptable. But when a noise applied to the system, the simulation results showed that the PID BBBC had better speed response.
