A novel color image encryption algorithm based on hyper-chaotic map abstract
Recently the hyper-chaotic maps have been investigated in order to develop more secure encryption schemes due the fact that the hyper-chaotic maps have more complex characteristics and larger key space compared to chaotic maps and consequently more resistance against attacks. In this paper, we use the powerful features of encryption using hyper-chaotic maps and also the feature of reducing the correlation among R, G, B components of color image, A novel color image encryption algorithm based on hyper-chaotic map is proposed. The results of statistical analysis show that the proposed encryption algorithm is an efficient and secure scheme for color image encryption, and it can be resistant against various attacks.
