Abstract:

Control of chaotic stochastic systems is studied in this paper. The objective of the work is to suppress the stochastic chaotic oscillations in a noisy environment. For this aim, the sliding mode control scheme has been utilized to derive Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs) as the stability condition. It is also shown that the sliding surface is reachable and the system trajectories will reach the surface in finite time and slide along it towards zero with probability 1. The effectiveness of the results is illustrated by applying the design method on a stochastic Chen system in order to suppress the chaotic oscillations
