A new analytical for solving nonlinear time-delay optimal control problems abstract

In this paper, we apply a modification of variational iteration method using He's polynomials for a class of nonlinear time-delay systems with a quadratic cost function. The proposed modification is employed to convert the original time-delay optimal control problem into a sequence of nonhomogeneous nonlinear two-point boundary value problems. A simple algorithm is presented that produces a suboptimal control law for these systems. Some examples are given to illustrate the implementation and the efficient of the method.
