Abstract:
The influences of copper particles content (0, 1, 3 volume percent), cooling rate and milling time on non-isothermal crystallization behaviour of medium densitypolyethylene/ copper (MDPE/Cu) composites were investigated using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) technique. The DSC profile of samples elucidatedthat ball milling had almost no effect on crystallization temperature and melting point of samples while, an increase in cooling rate can decrease the crystallizationtemperatures significantly. The results showed the solidification rate is significantly higher in the primary seconds of solidification in the samples
