Effect of Post-Warm Caliber Rolling (WCR) on ECAPed CP-Ti Grade2 Parts abstract
Nowadays needs to materials with good strength and ductility simultaneously have become a drastic challenge. Also CP-Ti is an applicable material particularly for Aerospace and Bio fields. As-received CP-Ti represents relatively poor quality in terms of strength which can be addressed successfully by applying Equal Channel Angular Pressing (ECAP). The most important shortcoming is that the ECAP results in a slump in the ductility, hence the following forming processes encounter serious limitation in form of formability. In order to increase ductility and formability of the stated material, Warm Caliber Rolling (WCR) used after ECAP. As extracted by results from this study, specimens which underwent WCR show the uniform plastic deformation during passes. Also escalating workability of them is another advantage of post-WCR process
