Economic water management in Iran

At this time, sanitation in water resources management are being sought and accomplish as part of the course of socio-economic changes in Iran, comprising variation in the structure of the national economic system and demand-supply apparatus for water.Desiccating lakes and rivers, declining groundwater resources, land subsidence, water contamination, water supply restricting and disruptions, forced migration, agricultural losses, salt and sand storms, and ecosystem damages are the modern water-related issues of a nation which was once recognized as the pioneer of sustainable water management.This essay describes the conditions and necessary infrastructure for transitioning from the present phase to a new one. First, the past and present condition of water resources management in Iran is offered. Then, the valuation of future changes, including long-range administration and a related action plan are presented. Finally, a list of plans that were validated in the past and some of their results are reported, with special strength on two important factors of water protection and water resources
