Abstract:

In this article, an extraction method for isolation of Humic and Folvic acid from Leonardite soil was investigated and examined. The method was based on extraction of Humic and Folvic by potash, urea and ammonium phosphate to produce a kind of water soluble fertilizer containing Humic/Fulvic as well as NPK altogether, which can be used inagriculture for soil treatment and crops quality enhancement. The obtain fertilizer sample was analyzed to determine thequantity of Humic and Fulvic by High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and gravimetry, and also NPKcontent by Kjeldahl method, Volumetric ammonium phosphomolybdate method and STPB method subsequently. The percentage of Humic by HPLC were obtained 5.68%, Fulvic by gravimetry 0.92% and also total nitrogen (N), P (asP2O5) and K (as K2O) in the produced sample were reported as 5.82%, 10.99% (as P2O5), 4.72% (as K2O) by aforementioned methods respectively. The achieved information from the present research in the Laboratory of Samiran Company proves that this product can be considered more as an efficient fertilizer in agriculture industry.
