Modification of input parameters to conceptual model of the Ghoochan basin using GMS model abstract
A groundwater model can be used to understand the mechanisms influencing groundwater flow and transport ofdissolved groundwater sensitivity to stress might predict, predict the future, knowing the path, estimating the pollution,environmental risk assessment, etc. In this paper, the necessary data for aquifer modeling and validation were preparedand appropriate conceptual model was developed from the aquifer. After that Ghuchan aquifer has been simulated byGMS model in steady-state condition. In spite of the number of observation well (23 rings) and shape of aquifer andlack of enough information such as hydrodynamic coefficients, the bedrock, etc the modeling results indicated that themodel able to well simulate changes in groundwater levels. Bed rock correction coefficients returned water from wells,and hydraulic conductivity obtained from model.
