Performance of intelligent structures with ATMD in near-fault ground motion excitation abstract
In this paper, we discuss the active control structures, against lateral forces (earthquake) been investigated. Therefore, the principles of fuzzy control structure described and the effect of Tuned Mass Damper to reduce the vibrations of seismic frames 3 and 9 floors with active tuned mass damper (ATMD) where the action is controlled by fuzzy logic controller (FLC) under earthquake excitations been investigated. Look for building models uncontrolled, controlled with PTMD and controlled with ATMD by Fuzzy has been studied for comparison takes place between them. Structural equation of motion of an Active Tuned Mass system in the state space is written and solved. Construct once time for uncontroled once again by the TMD controller with fuzzy algorithm under EL Centro earthquake considers that the results show that active control system using fuzzy controller in addition to a significant reduction in computational and independence classic controller satisfactory performance of complex calculations as well.
