Numerical Simulation of Force Convection Heat Transfer Nano Fluid Flow in the Ejector Using Lattice Boltzmann method abstract
In this article, force convection nano fluid flow in an ejector is simulated. Cu /water as nano fluid has been perused in this work. Lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) is used for simulation. One advantage of LBM is that it can be easily parallelized and hence can be used to simulate fluid flow in multi-core computers using parallel. Velocity and temperature distribution in the ejector are analyzed. Also the effect of some important parameters in nano fluid like solid volume fraction, on the heat transfer in the domain is analyzed. Obtained Results show the adding Cu nano particles because of high heat transfer coefficient can enhanced heat transfer in the ejector. The LBM results are validated against those available in the literatures. Comparisons of the results show that there is excellent agreement between them.
