NUMERICAL STUDY OF NATURAL CONVECTION AND ENTROPY GENERATION INSIDE CAVITY CONSIDERING OBLIQUE OBSTACLE abstract
There are a large number of investigation on natural convection due to enormous applications. Present work belong to study on natural convection inside cavity consideringoblique obstacle. In order to achieving optimum geometry a large number of simulation were done. The parameters that varies in this investigation are Rayleigh numbers from 103 to106, obstacle length from 0.1 to 0.5 and obstacle angle between -60<α<60. Obtained result suggest that different flow regimes have different optimum geometries. For laminar regime, (specifically Ra<106) α=60 and obstacle length equal to 0.4 considered as properties of optimum geometry.
