Compressive Constitutive Model for Concrete at Elevated Temperatures abstract
In this paper, compressive constitutive models for concrete subjected to fire is developed that are intended to provide efficient modelling and to specific fire-performance criteria of the behaviour of concrete structures exposed to fire. The proposed model is developed for unconfined concrete specimens that include residual compression strength, compressive elastic modulus, and compressive stress-strain relationship at elevated temperatures. The proposed models and relationships are compared with experimental data and pervious existing models at elevated temperatures. It affords to find several advantages and drawbacks of present stress-strain relationships and using these results to establishing accurate and general compressive stress-strain relationships. The proposed model is general, simple and has good agreement with experimental results.
