Abstract:

The present article is aimed to investigate divine names and attributes form Ibn-e-Arabi’s viewpoint based on theories presented in Fusus al-Hikam and al-Futūhāt al-Makkiyya or the Meccan Revelations . Based on the book Fusus al-Hikam written by Ibn-e-Arabi, the cosmos and universe overall manifest God’s names and attributes. In addition, the multiplicity of phenomena is considered as a means to display God’s names and attributes.Divine names are attributes and titles that all refer to the same truth. On the one hand, divine attributes are the same as essence. On the other hand, they are completely opposite to it. In the meanwhile, any of these God’s names and attributes is indicative of the truth about other God’s names and attributes
