Abstract:
Introduction &Aims: Breast Cancer is the most common cancer in women after skin cancer. It has high prevalence in the world .Aspirin use in women is associated with a significant reduction in the risk of breast cancer , especially for hormone receptor-positive tumors .The aim of this study is prevention of breast cancer.Methods: This is a review study and collected from different studies. Results: In a study, in USA women who used aspirin or other painkillers once a week for 6 months were 20 percent less likely to have breast cancer and those who have used seven days a week, were 28 percent lest. Taking aspirin regularly can decrease 50% the recurrence of breast cancer in over weight and obese women. In other study taking a daily aspirin reduced invasive tumors 47% . Irish researchers found that women who regularly used aspirin beforetheir breast cancer than other women were less at risk of mortality of breast cancer. Also taking aspirin regularly, prevent the spread of cancer to lymph nodes and can help to decrease mortality of breast cancer Conclusion: taking a daily aspirin caused the obstruction of self renewal activity of breast cancer cells and stops their growth and cells division. Daily dose of aspirin can be an effective preventative strategy against breast cancer
