Internalizationof Biosecurity in Aviculturepersonnel known as an Important Step in Controlling the Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza

Eradication of Influenza in countries like Iran is problematic (due to wide boundaries and placing on the winter and summer migration route of wild birds). However, by adopting precise strategies and appropriate techniques we are able to control Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI). In the other words, controlling of Influenza is an ultimate goal, which requires specific strategies to achieve it. These strategies are connected to each other and therefore if any of these strategies are not implemented properly, we will definitely not achieve our ultimate goal. Hardware and software are two new words that have just entered the poultry industry. Hardware in poultry industry include: poultry unit location, Facilities, location of breeding halls, water supply system, entrance and exit, quarantine, location of office buildings, open or closed system, shower system, fencing around poultry unit, proximity to contaminated sites such as slaughterhouses and other poultry farms. Software in poultry units include: education level and the commitment of the personnel include managers, consultants, experts and administrative staff and all workers allowed to enter breeding halls. Given these cases, units are successful that all by raising the level of hardware, improve the quality of knowledge of our personnel by creating continuous training courses. However, for scientific and practical training to achieve the desired results, training courses should be held at a level that is understandable to all people and modern teaching aids (PowerPoint, educational videos) was used. From the point of view of psychology and sociology, it has been emphasized that for better transmissions, materials should be examined from the worldview point and then culture are raised. A worldview is a science that responds to human causes and for this reason, personnel should be trained with casuses of HPAI control and answer questions like: why this virus should be controlled Why do the vehicles enter antiseptic pond when thire enter to farm Why must be shower in the entrance of farm Why not go to the markets for selling live poultry After this stage, the culture must be answered. culture is a science that answers how like: How to comply with the quarantine How to disinfect shoes How to shower How to disinfect halls and How to improve the biosecurity cycle In continue the process of running in one of the large laying units along with the results and teaching materials will be discussed.
