Abstract:
The increase to the number of electric vehicles could pose problems for the power system like voltage imbalances due to connection at peak time, the peak load increment possibility, need to increase the number of base-load power plants, increase in the size of equipment such as cables, switches, and transformers, etc. To solve the aforesaid problems, it is imperative to have a charge/discharge schedule in an instant of time. In this paper, the schedule of electric vehicles to decrease the system active power and voltage profile improvement. To achieve the goal, a differential evolutionary (DE) algorithm is used to find the best schedule for EVs. In this case, the multi-objective function is Fuzzificated to provide the opportunity to find the best result. The proposed method is applied to the IEEE 33-bus standard power system to show its powerful performance.
