Abstract:

The aim of Sentinel-2 constellation is to provide satellite data that can be used to map widely used land surface variables. ESA has provided both the Sen2Cor processor for offline processing of Level-1C products to L2A products and systematic processing of Level-2A products using the Sen2Cor processor integrated in the ESA Data Hub.Calibration is the process of quantitatively defining the system response to known controlled signal inputs and on the other hands determination of the sensor model parameters precisely. The validation process aims to check the quality of the data. One of the radiometric calibration methods is the cross calibration method. In this method, calibrated data (bottom of atmosphere reflectance) is used for raw data (top of atmosphere reflectance) calibration. The results of this study show that the cross calibration method can be used to successfully calibrate the eight multispectral bands of the Sentinel2 satellite image to surface. reflectance.
