A Robust Grayscale Image Watermarking Algorithm using IWT and SVD abstract
In this paper, a new watermarking technique for grayscale images, depending upon copyright security, is suggested utilizing IWT and SVD. In the proposed procedure, we have tried to provide a robust watermark against geometric and non-geometric attacks with high capacity. Robustness of the watermark against various attacks, invisibility and imperceptibility are the advantages of this algorithm. In the proposed method, the size of the host image and watermark is 512 512 pixels. In this technique, the images of the host and watermark are decomposed using a first - level 2D-IWT (integer wavelet transform). Then, SVD transform is applied to four sub-bands. The watermark is embedded in the diagonal matrix values obtained from the host image. Finally, the simulation results show that the proposed method has high transparency and an acceptable robust against different attacks compared to other famous algorithms. The simulation results show that the embedded watermark with each sub-band is more robust against attacks, in comparison to other rules, and can be extracted by the watermark from all four sub-bands.
