Static Test Analysis for Bogie Y52 Lsd1

ARVIN TABRIZ Company is the major supplier for the Iranian railway industry. This company manufactures Bogie Y52 Lsd1 based on industry standards and professional analysis. This kind of freight wagon bogie, has proven its reliability in operation and is used by numerous railway companies worldwide.This test includes static strength of welding frame of bogie Y52 Lsd1 which has supernormal load test and simulating operational load test.The objective of supernormal load static strength test is checking the chance of permanent deformation happening to bogie frame under maximum load condition, and objective of simulating operation load test is checking the happening chance of fatigue cracks on bogie frame under heavy load condition.This investigation performs standard test demonstrated by UIC 215-3 by means of finite element techniques to analyze deflections and stresses, then we will compare that with the experimental results from bogie frame static test platform that have been designed and manufactured by ARVIN TABRIZ to evaluate them. At the end we found the good agreements.
