Abstract:

Researchers have considered the integration of short term and mid-term decision-making problems, due to the need for real-worldproduction planning. Nowadays, by increasing in customer-oriented systems and according to production capacities and coordination between manufacturing sector, order acceptance is an important issue. In the past, these problems were considered separately, which led to inconsistencies in production systems and order s delivery. In this paper, the integrated problem of order acceptance, production planning and scheduling in a flexible job shop environment, for the first time, is considered. A novel mixed integer bi-objective mathematical model is proposed for minimizing makespan and maximizing profit. The classic LP-metric and Goal Programming techniques are used to solve the model and make Pareto solutions. A metric indicator of coverage and distance have shown that the L-P metric is a bett er approach for a descriptive example.
