Expression EZH2 in Epithelial and Stromal Cells in Breast

Background: Enhancer zester homolog 2 (EZH2) is a polycarbonate protein involved in stem cell and carcinogenesis. EZH2 is an oncogenic factor in breast cancer; increased EZH2 expression is associated with metastasis. The purpose of this study is Investigating Expression EZH2 in epithelial and stromal cells in breas Methods: This study is a systematic review article by surveying articles of databases and credible scientific websites include Science Direct, PubMed, scopus, and with keywords was EZH2, Breast cancer, pathology conducted during 2000 - 2018.Results: Healthy women with high EZH2 expression and low estrogen receptor (ER) expression in epithelium had a high risk of breast cancer; also woman with phyllodes tumor (PT) with high EZH2 expression in Stroma, was significantly associated with stromal overgrowth atypia, hypercellularity, and mitoses, grade of phyllodes tumor (PT) and all features of malignant PT.Conclusions: These results suggest that expression EZH2 in both of the breast epithelium of healthy women and the breast stroma of women with phyllodes tumors, increases the risk of malignancy.
