Abstract:
Hungary’s climate is mainly continental with warm, dry summers and fairly cold winters. Looking at the spatial distribution of precipitation, it is very heterogeneous, because humid conditions can be observed in the western parts and semiarid conditions dominate in the eastern regions of the country. The ten-year yield of temperature and rainfall in Hungary shows that from 2006 to 2009 the temperature and precipitation fluctuations are moderate and the yield of agricultural products depend on it. But in 2010, the sharp decrease in temperature as well as rising rainfall caused the yield of some plants, especially corn, is in difficulty and has a lower yield than other years. Between 2011 and 2016, fluctuations in temperature and precipitation are intermittent and it can be said that a good yield for the planting of these years.
