Abstract:
In this paper, we consider a resource allocation in a non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) based device-to-device (D2D) communications in cellular networks. In these networks, D2D users can communicate by sharing the radio resources assigned to cellular users (CUs). In fact, our goal is to maximize the data rate of the D2D pairs by joint proper D2D selection for each sub channel of the cells and also transmission power allocation of them. The constraint of the problem is the minimum required signal-to-interference-noise ratio (SINR) of CUs in each band (sub-channel) of the cells. We formulate the problem and propose an iterative algorithm based on genetic algorithm (GA). Genetic algorithm is one of the linear optimization methods and relatively better option for large scale applications. Simulation results validate the performance of our proposed algorithm for different values of the system parameters.
