Mehdi Naghavi is an Assistant Professor of Software Engineering at the Computer Engineering Department of Imam Hossein Comprehensive University of Iran. He received his Ph.D. in Software Engineering from the Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2015. His doctoral research is directed toward identifying and addressing challenges in continuous web monitoring. He received his M.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Computer Architecture, from Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 1995 and received his bachelor’s degree in Computer Hardware Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Iran, Tehran, in 1991. His areas of interests include Big Data, Information Retrieval, Search Engines and Web Mining, System Software, Distributed Systems and Cloud Computing.
