Abstract:

This paper focuses on the student-teachers’ feedback after their participation in a WebQuest research project and aims to determine if the format of a WebQuest enhances student-teachers interest and engagement with a text compared to a traditional reading. It was hypothesized that students would respond favorably to this format, and that the increased engagement would lead to greater motivation; however, after analyzing student-teachers feedback, it was determined that the format alone wasn’t successful in promoting students interest and some modifications would be necessary to increase students engagement and motivation
