Abstract:
Nowadays, research and analysis of risk factors of manufacturingsystems, have considered in some fields such as automobilemanufacturing industries, aerospace, electronics, chemicals and othermanufacturing industries. One of tools that can be used in this context,is FMEA method. This method help manger or designer in detection offailures, their effects and solutions before operating process or design.In this research, applying FMEA in automobile manufacturing, isstudied. Among various automobile manufacturing industries process,manufacturing process of female part in car side door hinge system.Data of this research, has achieved based on the ideas of experts andspecialists of the relevant subject. By applying the idea of experts andspecialists, the cases of potential failure and their effects, rate andnumber of severity, occurrence, and detection of obtained failures, haveobtained and finally, risk priority number (RPN), has obtained. Theseresults can be effective for upgrading the above mentioned automobilemanufacturing system.
