Abstract:Water distribution systems may require renovation or expansion during its operation. One of the most important parameters that can change during the operation of a water distribution network is roughness coefficient of pipes. The aim of this paper was designed the test node site in calibration process of network roughness coefficients using the inversed method and genetic algorithm. Due to the lack of observational pressures, one of the discussions in the inverse analysis is test site design. Using the sensitivity analysis and proposed trial and error based on the inverse method optimized by genetic algorithm, the water distribution network is designed. The results are shown that the sensitivity analysis plays a major role in the selection of test nodes and caused accelerating the proposed trial and error method.
