Abstract:
horrible strong ground motions during three past decades are reminders of the vulnerability of our cities infrastructures. Severe earthquakes would always leave behind major damages in structures loss many lives and interruption in public service systems. numerous researchers have proposed various control mechanisms to save buildings and accordingly their occupants but control of new high -rise buildings by traditional methods is very difficult and expensive.
